My Weekly Breakdown of Using Jasper AI for Marketing
So, I’ve been playing around with Jasper AI for my marketing efforts lately, and it’s been quite the journey. Here’s how I’ve been integrating it into my weekly workflow.
Step 1: Monday Morning Brain Dump (15 minutes)
I kick off the week by jotting down all my ideas and thoughts for the week ahead. It’s a mix of content themes, social media posts, and marketing strategies I want to explore. I open Jasper and start throwing in keywords and phrases that come to mind. The tool helps me find angles I hadn’t considered before, which is super useful.
Step 2: Content Creation (1 hour)
After my brain dump, I dive into creating actual content. I usually focus on blog posts or social media copies. I plug in my ideas into Jasper and let it generate some drafts. It usually takes me about an hour to tweak the output, ensuring it fits my voice. I’ve found that it’s not about just copying what it spits out; it’s about refining it to make it mine.
Step 3: Reviewing & Feedback (30 minutes)
Once I have my drafts, I like to step away for a bit and come back with fresh eyes. I spend around 30 minutes reviewing everything, fine-tuning the language and structure. Sometimes I even run it by a colleague or a friend to get their take before I finalize it. Feedback is key!
Step 4: Social Media Scheduling (1 hour)
Next up, I use a social media scheduling tool (one of my faves) to line up everything for the week. I take snippets from my blog posts and social media copy generated by Jasper and create graphics to match. It’s a bit of a process, but I like having a full schedule ready to go. It saves me from scrambling last-minute.
Step 5: Engaging with the Audience (30 minutes)
Throughout the week, I make it a point to engage with my audience, usually in the evenings. I’ll spend about 30 minutes responding to comments and messages. Sometimes I take inspiration from feedback and questions to feed back into Jasper for the next week’s content.
Step 6: Analytics Check (20 minutes)
On Fridays, I set aside around 20 minutes to check out the analytics of everything I’ve posted. I look at engagement rates, clicks, and whatever else I can find. This helps me adjust my strategies for the following week. I want to see what’s working and what’s falling flat.
Bonus Tip: Shared Account Services
Oh, and a little hack I’ve found is using a shared account service to try out tools like Jasper without shelling out 20 bucks a month. It’s a great way to get premium features without diving into a long-term commitment right away.
That’s pretty much my week with Jasper AI. It’s been a mix of experimentation and solid routines, and honestly, I’m excited to see how it evolves as I keep using it.
